Assemblage

A series of one-of-a-kind screenprinted collage works.

‘Assemblage’ is a series of prints which explores the tension and interconnectedness between built and natural environments. Each piece is hand printed and assembled, making every work entirely unique.

Using screenprinting, kozo paper, studio scraps, and other printed materials, I build layered compositions through a process called chine-collé ("to paste"), in which printed papers are adhered to a base sheet and run through a printing press. Multiple layers create rich textures, depth, and imagery that cannot be exactly replicated.

Every print is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
